Why the region of Central and Eastern Europe and Poland?

Poland lacks start-ups – the start-up funnel needs fixing
Although there are between 3,000 and 5,000 start-ups in Poland, this number drops to just a few hundred when viewed through the lens of high incubation standards. For a country of about 40 million people, this is far too few. What is the cause of such poor statistics? A lack of professional incubation. Incubators are crucial because it is at the pre-seed stage that business foundations are built. Without their support and knowledge, newly established companies often fail soon after being founded (as many as 92% of start-ups fail within the first three years). Fixing incubation is essential to creating a strong innovation ecosystem in Poland and the region.
There may be a shortage of start-ups, but there are ambitious and highly skilled people!
Central and Eastern Europe boasts a large pool of highly qualified specialists in technology and science. Unfortunately, when it comes to start-ups, teams often lack the necessary business and implementation knowledge, even though the technologies themselves can be impressive. Unlocking the incubation sector is therefore key to enabling modern enterprises to emerge in Poland — companies that not only impress with innovation but are also firmly grounded in business.
